I always find that if I try to DIY absolutely everything in a room, then I just end up seeing all the little imperfections here and there and for some reason it never seems quite “finished”.If I store-buy everything though, it seems kind of lifeless and plastic.

At one point I started to paint a little too early and didn’t let the previous coat dry.It made the finish a little chunkier and messier, but it’s Halloween, so we’ll just say that now it looks extra spooky.
All I had to do to finish it off was grab some ribbon from my stash, and some hot glue of course!.I just love the end result.
